About Us
All-Purrpose is a student-founded 501c3 nonprofit created to help stray cats live safer, healthier lives through Trap-Neuter-Return education and action. Our name stands for our “all-purrpose” mission—to care, advocate, support stray animals wherever it’s needed. From community TNR events to online awareness posts, we’re building a kinder future for cats one paw at a time. All of our profits to fund TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) projects and aid animal shelters.
Our Mission
Besides funding local shelters to alleviate their financial pressure, All-Purrpose also aims to solve the issue at its root with TNR.
Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) is a humane method of managing feral cat populations. It involves trapping feral cats, spaying or neutering them, and releasing them back into their original habitat. This approach helps to control the population of feral cats without resorting to euthanasia, and it can also improve the health and behavior of the cats.
Our Vision
At our organization, we are committed to supporting TNR efforts to help control the population of stray animals. However, we also have a bigger mission in mind. In the future, we aim to expand our efforts to help all stray animals in need. We believe that every animal deserves a chance at a happy and healthy life, and we dedicated to making that a reality.
Our Impact
Starting December 2024, All-Purrpose is dedicated to educate, and advocate for stray animal welfare—With our first cat TNR-ed in January, our ongoing individual TNR projects have successfully neutered 4 stray cats since then. With two of those cats finding their forever home, we strive to continue the momentum as our funding permits.
